HARNESS TESTER DEVELOPMENT

This project was completed during my third work term. For confidentiality reasons I can only show so much. I was tasked with developing and implementing harness testers for front and rear fascias of new vehicles. Vehicles have numerous components built into the front and rear fascias, including sensors, lamps, and cameras. The harness testers that I helped develop and implement were able to test the functionality of these components reliably on the assembly line during production. Some of the tasks I performed include developing a harness connected circuit, software improvements, and getting the testers integrated with the assembly line via an ASCII interface and PLC code.
